Willow Springs, MO. – As a result of the success of the recent 4th of July celebrations and fundraising earlier this month, the Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce was able to present the local police department a check containing the proceeds.
The events that raised the money were the I RAN FROM THE COPS 5K, and SWAT Challenge, both of which test the physical endurance of their participants. Officials with the Chamber state that these events were a big success, and look forward to an even bigger event for the third year of these efforts.

The check that was made out to the Willow Springs PD came out to $1,422.
