On Monday, September 28, the Willow Springs School District was informed by the Howell County Health Department of a school bus driver testing positive for Covid-19. Contact tracing was not necessary due to adherence to social distancing guidelines.
On Tuesday, September 29, 2020 the Willow Springs School District was informed by the Howell County Health Department of a positive Covid-19 case of an adult who works at Willow Springs High School. Contact tracing has been completed for this individual and any person who had close contact has been contacted and provided specific guidance. This person also attended the Willow Springs football game Friday, September 25, 2020. Although the risk of exposure at the football game is considered low, it is recommended those who attended the game monitor for symptoms.
