Willow Springs, MO. – Yesterday, we announced that the Mountain Home, AR. School District has been experienced elevated security measures due to a potential threat rumor spreading online. Willow Springs is now facing the same problem.

Last night’s announcement comes from the office of Marty Spence, superintendent of the Willow Springs School District, and was posted on the school’s social media page.

While officials have stated there is no credible evidence of any active threat, a rumor circulating online has led staff with the school to commit to increasing law enforcement presence today as a way to maintain a secure environment.
