The man stated that Taber had come into his home and sprayed him in the face. The two victims refused medical treatment when offered.

According to the probable cause statement, Taber told the officer that the male victim abuses the female victim, who was afraid to “take care of it”. Taber said she went inside and maced the man. The officer asked the suspect if the man had been abusing or hitting the woman that night, and Taber did not know if he abused her that night. Taber was then taken into custody without incident.

Elizabeth A. Taber has been charged with 1st-degree burglary, a class B felony.
