Winona Police Chief Cleared of Wrongdoing Following Two Month Investigation

Winona, MO. – Earlier this summer, the Winona Police Chief Justin Eudaley and a Winona Police Officer were put on suspension following accusations of wrongdoing against each other. At the request of the Winona Board of Aldermen and Winona Mayor Dino Romeo, the Missouri State Highway Patrol performed an investigation into the accusations. The Chief and the Officer were put on administrative leave during the investigation.

On August 27, 2022, Mayor Romeo announced that Chief Eudaley had been cleared of any wrongdoing by the Highway Patrol. No word was released about the investigation against the unnamed Officer.

During this period of investigations, the Winona City Clerk was terminated following a vote by City Aldermen for lying to the board in regards to investigation documents and allegations, according to Mayor Romeo.
