Winona, MO. – People in the area shouldn’t be surprised to see a large amount of motorcycle-riders on April 15th, as this is all a part of a big fundraising effort for the Library in Winona, MO.
Members of the Winona Library have been looking at new ways they can raise funds for the library to not only purchase new books for the public building, but also for for various repairs and maintenance. The Winona Library Board Vice President Anthony Martin came to us to tell us about his plans for this process.
It’ll be a motorcycle group drive event for those who love ride in the Springtime. Those who are interested will gather at 10am, and then move as a group at 11am from Winona on an 80-90 mile ride taking them through Eminence, to Ellington, and then back to Winona.
Those who participate will be able to receive punch cards to show their participation through the trip, and at the end, prizes and items will be distributed to those who completed the event, including various gift certificates, and a mystery gift basket of over $200 in value from Mega Motorsports in West Plains.
Cost to enter this event will be $15 per bike, and an additional $5 per passenger. Those who are interested are asked to call 417-247-0940 before 10pm, until the day of the event.
