Mountain View, MO. – A woman from Winona lost her life in a two-vehicle accident yesterday afternoon.
This crash took place between a GMC Yukon, driven by a 65-year-old Summersville woman, and a Mazda 2, driven by the decedent, a 78-year-old woman from Winona.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol say that the Winona woman pulled into the path of the Yukon on Missouri 17 near Mountain View at around 2:40pm.
The Winona woman was not wearing her safety device at the time of the crash.
This is Troop G’s 10th fatality for this year, compared to 3 this time last year.
