SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 6 am Sunday to 6 pm Monday.
The advisory covers Texas, Shannon, and Wright counties, locally.

Meteorologists say a wintery mix of precipitation is expected, with 1-3 inches of snow accumulation and ice accumulations up to a tenth of an inch are possible.
Motorists should expect slippery road conditions and take extra time on their Monday commutes.
