A 28-year-old woman from Hartville sustained minor injuries after her vehicle collided with a deer on Highway 38, three miles west of Hartville. The accident occurred at approximately 12:00 p.m. on March 12, 2025.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the woman was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Impala westbound when she struck a deer in the roadway. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was removed from the scene by a private party.

Emergency responders transported the driver to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment of minor injuries.
