West Plains, MO. – OzSBI, or the Ozarks Small Business Incubator, is looking to host a workshop next week intended to give attendees knowledge about new upcoming changes to Missouri sales tax.
With tax requirements shifting, businesses across the state could face costly penalties as a result. To help prevent this dilemma, this Missouri Sales Tax Registration & Compliance Workshop will take place on Thursday, June 11, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
This class will include instruction on how to set up and manage your online account with the MyTax Missouri portal, including filing returns, submitting payments, obtaining a Statement of No Tax Due, and using additional features of the portal.
After that portion of the workshop, there will be an optional one-hour hands-on lab meant to provide more personalized assistance. Bring your business laptop, if you have one!
