City of West Plains Transportation crews will begin working on the Holiday Lane bridge Wednesday, July 22 at 7 a.m. During this time the bridge will be closed to all traffic. Crews hope to have the bridge surfaced and open to traffic on Monday, July 27. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience during this time.
City of West Plains sewer crews will have Aid Avenue closed from Maple to Leyda for maintenance from 7 a.m. to noon on Thursday, July 23. This job will be weather permitting.
City of West Plains water crews will have Eighth Street from Highway 63 to Kentucky Avenue closed to traffic on Sunday, July 26 from 4 a.m. to 12 p.m. The water will be shut-off from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. on July 26. Those affected will be from Tenth Street to Eighth Street. There will be a boil water order once water is turned back on until Wednesday, July 29.
