The City of West Plains would like to let citizens know due to the current road conditions the sanitation routes will not be running the rest of the day, February 11.
If conditions improve, routes may run this afternoon. Also, with the icy road conditions, the ice cannot be plowed off of streets. Salt is being spread on hills, intersections, and other areas but until temperatures warm up, conditions may not improve.

“We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and understanding and advise not to travel if at all possible,” said city officials.
