From the City of West Plains:
Per City of West Plains ordinance, all political signs must be removed no later than 30 days after the election. This includes signs relating to candidates or propositions on the ballot.
Starting Monday, December 16, City staff will begin removing any remaining signs from public right-of-ways and properly disposing of them. To avoid this, we encourage residents to remove their signs beforehand.
For reference, political signs are defined in Chapter 34 – Signs, Section 34-2 of city ordinances. You can find all city ordinances here — https://library.municode.com/…/codes/code_of_ordinances
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping West Plains clean and in compliance with local regulations.
