West Plains, Mo. – As of 9 a.m., the West Plains Police Department has entered an emergency status. If you are involved in a non-injury vehicle accident, it is suggested that you exchange information and do NOT call the police department. IF you are injured in a vehicle accident, contact 9-1-1 as normal. The West Plains Police Department is suggesting that residents stay home and off of the roadways. Most roads in the City of West Plains are fully or partially covered and the WPPD is working several vehicle crashes through out the city.
