Officers with the West Plains Police Department responded to four burglary investigations in nine days, Sept. 21-Sept. 30. The Police Department is asking the community for assistance in solving this crimes.
BURGLARY 1:
On 09/21/2020 a burglary was reported at a residence on County Road 4000. During the investigation, it was learned a television, sound bar, a gun safe, and two firearms were stolen from the residence. The burglary occurred between 4:00 AM and 4:00 PM on 09/21/2020.
BURGLARY 2:
On 09/24/2020, a burglary was reported at the Providence Baptist Church on St. Louis Street. During the investigation, it was learned someone had forced entry to the church through the back door. A window was also damaged. Officers cleared the church and was informed nothing appeared to have been stolen. It is believed the burglary would have occurred between 11:00 AM on 09/24/2020 and 9:00 AM on 09/27/2020.
BURGLARY 3:
On 09/27/2020, a burglary was reported at The Cutting Warehouse on Missouri Avenue. During the investigation, it was learned an iPad, a Samsung tablet, and $445.00 dollars had been stolen from the business during the burglary. It was reported the burglary would have occurred between 5:30 PM on 09/26/2020 and 7:30 AM on 09/27/2020
BURGLARY 4:
On 09/30/2020, a burglary was reported at a residence on Bill Virdon Blvd. During the investigation, it was learned someone had forced entry into a shed behind the residence and stole several power tools from the shed. It is believed the burglary would have occurred between 9:00 PM on 09/29/2020 and 7:00 AM on 09/30/2020.
