WPPD: Traffic stop nets stolen vehicle

On October 27th, 2020 West Plains Police Department K9-Officer Paul Bradshaw Jr. and his partner Loki were patrolling in a residential area of West Plains when Bradshaw observed a Dodge truck that was improperly tagged.

Officer Bradshaw conducted a traffic stop and learned the truck had been reported stolen from Grenada County Mississippi in 2017. The sole occupant of the truck was taken into custody and with assistance from Loki a bag containing a white crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were discovered. The driver of the truck is being held pending formal charges of drug possession and tampering with a motor vehicle.
