A 49‑year‑old woman from Licking was seriously injured in a two‑vehicle crash Sunday at the Highway 5 and Highway 14 junction in Ava.
The Highway Patrol says a northbound 17‑year‑old driver from Bradleyville attempted a left turn and struck a southbound Harley‑Davidson trike, ejecting the rider. The juvenile driver had minor injuries and sought her own treatment. The motorcycle rider was taken by ambulance to Cox South in Springfield.
