Wright County K9’s Receive Donation of Body Armor

Hartville, MO. – A pair of K9 officers are now more garbed up with the donation of two new body armor vests.

The K9’s are both from the Wright County Sheriff’s Office, and are named Alex and Leo. The vests are bullet and stab protective, and will allow them to perform their duties more safely than ever. This information was recently announced by the Wright County Sheriff’s Office itself.

The donating entity is one we’ve seen donate to other K9 units associated with sheriff’s departments in multiple counties, Vested Interest in K9’s, Inc. This organization is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that makes it a mission to provide protective equipment and other assistance to canines involved in law enforcement and other similar agencies. Each vest donated is custom-made for the dog in question.
