In conjunction with the City of West Plains, the West Plains Police Department, the Howell County Sheriff’s Office, Burlington Northern, and the West Plains School District, West Plains Schools are pleased to announce they are able to provide enough manpower to begin the 2021 homecoming parade on Main Street, move around the square, and continue with the previous parade route that moves past the high school.
We want to thank everyone for your support and thank the City of West Plains, the Police Department, Burlington Northern, and the Sheriff’s Department for making it possible to continue the parade tradition.
The Homecoming Parade – 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 8. Students, parents, and community members are encouraged to attend the parade. To enter a float, click here Community Entry Form. (Floats must be registered to participate.)
New Parade Route –
The parade will begin at Robertson Drago Funeral Home on Main Street, move around the square, continue on Main Street, passing over Jackie D. Garret Dr. onto Howell Street. The parade will then march toward the high school and continue east onto Olden past the high school. Finally, the parade will turn left onto Davidson Street and end.
The parade lineup will form on Jefferson Street next to Robertson Drago Funeral Home.
