Zizzers Celebrate Day Without Hate

The West Plains Schools are celebrating Day Without Hate today and have some great ways to celebrate! Day Without Hate is a non-profit run by local schools to help spread joy and happiness throughout the schools to raise awareness on bullying and its effects on students. The agenda for the day looks like a lot of fun

  • Students receive a free shirt brought to you by sponsors of classrooms and private donations by the community
  • They were welcomed this morning with music, hugs and treats as they entered the school
  • High School students will be heading over to the Elementary and helping spread awareness with the Pre-K Students
  • From 6pm to 8pm there will be a rally for the High School students. Students who wear their Day Without Hate T-Shirt get in FREE. Spring Dipper will be selling ice cream, the FFA is selling smoked pork nachos, there will be games, music, activities and more!

The High School is looking for volunteers for the event tonight. If you would like to volunteer call the Kiersten Peterson, teacher at West Plains High School, at 303-748-8440 and report to the high school football field at 5:30
