Zizzer alumni, friends, and community members are invited to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate West Plains Schools at the Zizzers Community Homecoming, set for Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the West Plains Civic Center.
Hosted by the West Plains Education Foundation, the event is designed to bring generations of Zizzers together for an evening of food, music, memories, and community, all while supporting current and future Zizzer students.
Whether it’s time for a class reunion, an opportunity to reconnect with old high school friends, or simply a chance to support West Plains Schools, Zizzers Community Homecoming offers a place for the entire Zizzer community to come together.
Tickets are $50 per person, with all funds raised from the event going directly back into West Plains classrooms through the West Plains Education Foundation’s Innovative Classroom Grants.
These grants are awarded twice each year and provide teachers with funding to bring creative ideas, resources, and learning opportunities directly to students. “Community Homecoming is about honoring the connections and traditions that make being a Zizzer special,” said Dr. Tiffany Young. “We want our alumni and community members to have a place to reconnect with one another while also investing in the students who will carry those traditions forward.”
Those planning to attend are encouraged to purchase tickets by September 12. Alumni are also encouraged to gather their classmates, organize a reunion group, and make Community Homecoming part of their plans this fall. Community members can also follow the new West Plains Education Foundation Facebook page for event updates, Foundation news, and more opportunities to stay connected with and support West Plains Schools.
