Alice Marie Schwien, 100, passed away on November 17, 2019, in Mountain View, Missouri. She was born on April 4, 1919, to Ed and Katie (Zumwalt) Partney in Mountain View, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Elmer Schwien on August 8, 1936, in Linngrove, Iowa and to this union eight children were born.
Visitation will be from 10-11 am Wednesday, November 20 at Yarber Mortuary in Mtn. View. Services will be at 11 am with interment at Veterans Cemetery in Mountain View.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer; son, Charles Schwien; sister, Pansey Tranbarger Bauer; two brothers, Edward Partney and Russell Partney; two sons-in-law, Clarence Wade and Ivan Potter; and two grandchildren, Wanda Sue Wade and Skyler Schwien.
She is survived by children, Kathryn Wade, Ruth Ann Potter both of Mountain View, Missouri, Faye Mooney (Dennis) of Alton, Illinois, Sue Willbanks (Melvyn) of Mountain View, Missouri, James Schwien (LaVonne) of Summersville, Missouri, David Schwien (Wilma) of Peace Valley, Missouri, and Ray Schwien (fiancé Melinda) of Mountain View, Missouri; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
