Arthur “Moe” Sliger, 71, of Ash Flat, Arkansas passed away at his home Saturday, September 16, 2023. He was born October 18, 1951 in Johnson City, Tennessee and became a builder remodeling houses. He was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church and loved fishing and deer hunting.
Moe was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Lee and Marjorie Jane Rogers Sliger; two brothers, Bill and Dub Sliger, and three sisters: Joyce Kinley, Brenda Cocker, and Jayne Cloyde.
Survivors include his wife, Lydia Wolverton Sliger; two sons: Mark Sliger of the home and Scottie Walls of Mooreville, Mississippi; a special granddaughter, Shannon Phillips; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Linda Collins of Elizabethton, Tennessee; many other relatives and good friends.
A memorial service is planned for Monday, September 25, at 5 p.m. in Ash Flat at Crossroads Baptist Church.
