Barbara Ann White, 76, of Willow Springs, Missouri, passed away on August 19, 2026.
Barbara was born on April 1, 1950, in Laramie, Wyoming to Charles Earl Bay and Mildred Lorene Courtney . She was a graduate of Houston High School, Class of 1968. Throughout her life, Barbara was a hardworking woman who worked multiple jobs to provide for and support her family. She was also the recipient of a cosmetology scholarship.
Barbara had a giving heart and was always willing to help others. She volunteered with Head Start while her children were attending the program, and she was a woman who found meaning in caring for the people around her. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
More than anything, Barbara loved her family. She cherished spending time with them and treasured the moments when everyone could be together. She especially loved family reunions and birthday celebrations. To Barbara, those gatherings were never simply another date on the calendar. They were occasions she genuinely looked forward to because the people she loved were going to be there.
She also enjoyed gardening and loved playing bingo. But it was her family who brought her the greatest joy and gave her life its deepest meaning.
Barbara is survived by her children, Carrie Hollis, Lisa Cantrell, and Kimberly Palmer; sister, Carol Wilder; stepmom, Vita Bay; and grandchildren, Cullen, Brianna, Tedi, Stetson, Dalton, Mieleena, Eric Jr., Ethan, Zackary, Keegan, Ashly, Rayden, and Savannah; and 25 great-grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by her extended family and all those whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Bay; mother, Lorene Brackett; stepfather, Leburn Brackett; her son, Ronnie Lynn Cantrell Jr.; brother, Leonard Bay; and sister, Linda Taylor.
