Betty Jean Cruse was born in Salem, Arkansas to Franklin and Cora Lois (Gipson) Gann on Christmas day in 1946. She departed from this life in Jonesboro at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House on May 6, 2024 at the age of 77 years.
Betty was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church of Sitka for many years. She enjoyed reading, especially westerns, and was an exceptional seamstress. Betty loved spending time in the garden and loved tending to and watching all of her flowers grow.
Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Cruse of Williford, and Karen Cruse of Aspen Springs, Colorado; grandson Anthony Lazzaretto; great grandson Zander Blu; many other friends, and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband R.C. Cruse; sister Ann Chastain; and two brothers Leroy and Frank Gann Jr.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements entrusted to Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
