A Celebration of Life for Betty Jane Barton, Age 77 of West Plains, Missouri will be held on Thursday, October 29th, 2026 in The Rose Chapel of The Robertson Drago Funeral Home, West Plains, Missouri, beginning at 4:00 PM.
Betty passed away Thursday, October 22, 2026 at NHC HealthCare.
She was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on January 21, 1949, to William Henry Cloinger and Velma Morene Ragan Jackson. Betty worked as an LPN, was a Christian, and enjoyed gardening, embroidery, crocheting and bird watching. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.
Betty is survived by one daughter, Tamera Allen, Morrisville, Missouri; two grandchildren, Johnnie Pottorff and wife, Sarah, Ozark, Missouri and Christian Pottorff and wife, Aries, Springfield, Missouri; one great-granddaughter, Alexandria Pottorff; four brothers, Ed Cloinger and wife, Diane, Vilonia, Arkansas, Benny Cloinger, Benton Harbor, Michigan, Tommy Cloinger and wife, Gina, Iva, South Carolina and Leonard Galloway and wife, Penny, Judsonia, Arkansas; three sisters, Aretta Rhoads and husband, Carl, West Plains, Michele Cloinger, West Plains and Jeanie Kirk and husband, Bob, Royse City, Texas; along with several nieces and nephews.
Her parents and one brother, Leland Galloway, preceded her in death.
