Bobby Eugene Graham, 89 years, 10 months, 14 days old, passed away on January 23, 2025, at his home in Ava, Missouri.
Bob was born March 9, 1935, in Sweden, Missouri, to Rube and Bertha (Nall) Graham.
He grew up in Douglas County. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and served in the Korean War.
On September 25, 1993, Bob and Clair Herrell were united in marriage at Ava, Missouri.
He was retired from working as a Concrete Finisher. Bob did concrete work all over the town of Ava and Douglas County and beyond. Some of the areas that he worked at was the Kansas City Royals Stadium, PFI in Springfield and other places. Bob was a hard worker and never stopped.
He enjoyed rabbit, coon, and squirrel hunting. Family meant everything to Bob, and he greatly enjoyed family gatherings. He very much enjoyed teasing everyone.
Clair and Bob were saved at the same time at Sweden Church and baptized at Thornfield in 1993.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his step mother, Myrtle Hicks; siblings, Earl Thurman, James and Audie Graham, Thelma Burchell, Don Graham, Esther Wilke, and Zelda Graham; and his son, Garrell Graham.
He is survived by his wife, Clair; one daughter and husband, Terra and Tom Coon; step sons, Michael Herrell and Matthew Herrell; granddaughters, Kalina Thornsberry, Kelsey Edwards and husband, Brian, KiLeigh Bristol; grandsons, Jake and Derek Herrell; great grandson, Nash Edwards; several nieces; nephews; and many friends.
Funeral services for Bob will be Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, Missouri. Military honors will be conducted at the funeral home by the Troy Herd American Legion 112 and U.S. Army. Officiating will be Pastor T.J. Stout. Bob’s wishes were to be cremated following his services and burial of his cremains will be buried near his mother at the Loftin Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to the family as a love offering to help with expenses.
