Bonnie Rose Sisney, 91, of Gainesville, MO passed away April 18, 2024 at Gainesville Healthcare Center. She was born May 23, 1932 in Isabella, MO to Clifford and Ola (Johnson) Loftis.
In 1950, Bonnie was united in marriage to Vernon Sisney. For the next 53 years the couple raised their family and made their living between Gainesville and Wichita, KS, following Vernon’s work. Vernon passed away in 2003. Bonnie loved her children and was a wonderful homemaker. She was a Christian and very proud of her faith in God. She attended the Assembly of God church when her health allowed. She enjoyed gardening and being outside, but most of all she just loved her family big! She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by one son, Larry Sisney and wife MeLisa of Brookline, MO; one grandson Jason Sisney and wife Jill of Springfield, MO; two great grandsons Evan Sisney and wife Jessie of Ozark, MO, Sam Sisney and wife Courtney of Springfield, MO; three great-great grandchildren Raelynn, Presley & Grayson; one brother Paul Loftis and wife Peggy of Gainesville, MO; and many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Ola Loftis; her husband Vernon Sisney; one daughter Tammy Robertson; one grandson Jeffrey Hashberger; one sister Shirley Sims; and two brothers Elza Loftis and Gene Loftis.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2024 in the Pontiac Cemetery. Officiating will be Jimmy Kyle. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pontiac Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
