Glen “Brady” Williams, son of the late Stephen Frank and Roxie Lou (Mann) Williams, was born into a large family of six brothers and three sisters, at his parents’ home on January 12, 1936, in Loving, New Mexico. He passed away peacefully, shortly after his birthday dinner celebration at his Mountain Grove home on January 12, 2025, surrounded by his family at the age of 89.
Brady was truly one of a kind. He was united in marriage to Vivian Marie Hussey on November 1, 1957, in Pecos, Texas. With Vivian by his side, they were a force to be reckoned with and created a beautiful legacy that will continue to live on. Four children were born to this union.
In his high school days, Brady was known for his boxing skills. He was a hard worker and was dedicated to his family and his farm. Brady worked tirelessly on his cattle ranch and took great pride in everything he did. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Besides his parents, Brady was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Williams; and one sister-in-law, Troyce Williams.
Brady is survived by four children, Robb Williams (Aaron Erwin) of Norwood, Missouri, Larae Peterson, Dru Christen, and Ericka Sanderson, all of Mountain Grove; two brothers, Lindville Williams (Beverly) of Gilbert, Arizona, and James Williams of Mountain Grove; five grandchildren, Courtney Lynn Kitrel, Alexa Christen, Austin Morton, Kylla Dodds (Shawn) and Kirsten Watson; twelve great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
