Growing up in the towering redwoods of Humboldt, California, Brenda Gayle Chapuis, born on January 30, 1948, embodied the nurturing spirit of her surroundings throughout her life. On December 6, 2024, at the graceful age of 76, Brenda quietly left us from her beloved home in Ava, Missouri.
To know Brenda was to be embraced by a presence filled with unwavering love and unmatched kindness. She dedicated her life to her family, drawing the greatest joy from being a cherished homemaker. Her life was a living tapestry of love, centered around her nurturing role as a mother and grandmother. Brenda’s proudest achievements were undoubtedly her children: Bert Micheal De Vasure, Brian Neil De Vasure, Bradley Benton De Vasure, and Chadd Steven Chapuis. They were the center of her universe, and she reveled in the lives and laughter of her precious grandchildren, Destin Orion Chapius and Acadia Skye Chapius who were her pride and joy and felt her boundless love deeply.

It was within her family that she found her greatest fulfillment, pouring her energy into nurturing a loving home.
