Brent is survived by his father, James Cravens and wife, Susie, of Rogersville, Missouri; brother, Gary Cunningham and wife, Ashley, of Germany; sisters, Cathy Laird and husband, Terry, Kay Higginbotham and husband, Ed, and Cindy Estes and husband, Joe, all of Nixa, Missouri; stepfather, Cecil Blankenship, of Nixa, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.

He was born in Springfield and grew up in Seymour. He was a graduate of Seymour High School in the Class of 1989. At age 19, he was a college student and had a major stroke which left him with a disability and several health problems. He handled it with courage and grace, living a contented life.

Brent made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of South Haven Baptist Church in Springfield where he was a member of the young men’s quartet.

In his spare time, he loved music, and playing the bass guitar, and was an avid collector of Super Heroes, Star Wars, McDonald’s collectibles, and many others.

Brent was a loving son, brother, cousin, and friend. We know he is in a better place, with his Lord and Savior and no more illness.
