Calvin Lonzo Tribble

Funeral services for Calvin Lonzo Tribble, 70, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 25, 2021 at the Pottersville Baptist Church, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. 

   Mr. Tribble passed away July 21, 2021 at his home in West Plains, Missouri.

He was born July 22, 1950 to Claude and Bertha Tribble in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. In 1974, he married the love of his life, Patti Forrester Tribble. For 47 years, they were inseparable and their love for each other was evident to everyone around.

Calvin was a man of many endeavors and an accomplished business man. In 1992 he moved his family from Arkansas to open, West Plains Recycling. He was a wheeler – dealer and was always ready to, “make a deal on your scrap steel.” Calvin had many hobbies that always included his family. He enjoyed many things like spending time at the lake, going to the races, riding his Harley, flying his powered parachute and spending lots of time at the farm.

Calvin’s most prized possession was his family. He spent the majority of his time surrounded by their company. He was immensely proud of his kids, grandkids and great granddaughter. Calvin was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife Patti Tribble, Daughters; Jessica Phipps and husband Tyler of Pottersville, Missouri, Callie Barry and husband Matt of West Plains, Missouri, grandchildren; Dylan Tribble and wife Paige, Jade Barry, Mason Collins, Calvin Chase Barry and Clayton Collins, great granddaughter; Ella Tribble, sisters; Cladia Wheeless, Elizabeth Gall and husband Gene, Mary Darlene Ferguson and Melissa May, brothers; Mike Tribble and wife Beth, Roger Tribble and wife Brenda and Dennis Tribble, sister in law Jan Tucker and husband Bobby and brother in law, Bobby  Joe  Forester and wife Lisa and many nieces and nephews and special friends.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, his in laws and grandson, Brayden Collins.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, at the Langston Street Chapel of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Pottersville Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Pottersville Baptist Church, Ronald McDonald House Charity of the Ozarks or Children’s Miracle Network and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main, West Plains, MO  65775.
