Graveside services for Camellia Jean Lucas-Hanson, 67, Clever, Missouri, formerly of West Plains, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Howell Valley Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hanson passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at her home.
She was born May 21, 1957, at West Plains, Missouri, to Ivan Edward Carrell and Imogene Holloway Carrell. On July 6, 2002, she was married at West Plains, to Philip Hanson. Mrs. Hanson was a veteran, having served with the United States Navy. She loved helping kids with schooling, counseling or any way she could. She enjoyed watching westerns, especially John Wayne Movies. Camellia Jean was a talented cake maker and florist; she truly loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Phil Hanson; three children, Colton Lucas-Hanson and fiancé Haley Humphrey, Kristi Lucas and Amy Sisco and husband, Richard; three grandchildren, Lauren Davis and fiancé’ Tyler Cady, Bailey Sisco and Brennan Sisco; two great-grandchildren, Baylor and Everett Davis; two brothers, Sam Carrell land Dennis Carrell and wife, Maria; one sister, Sherry Brotherton and husband, John; and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, Terry Lucas and one son, Robert Lucas, preceded her in death.
