She leaves behind her three children, Douglas Underwood (Elizabeth), Debra Womack (James), and David Underwood (Victoria); she had four grandchildren, Steven, Jeremy, Kyle, and Shannon; and eight great-grandchildren, Samantha, Danika, Annabeth, Logan, Delilah, Camilla, River, and Walter; she also leaves behind two sisters, Paula Tilmon and Rosemary Nichols; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Her hobbies were watching baseball, sewing, needlepoint, reading, doing puzzles, and puzzle books. She enjoyed sitting at the kitchen table in the morning drinking her coffee and reading one of her books. Anyone who knew her knew that her dining room looked like a seamstress shop. She had bolts of material and thread stacked everywhere. She spent hours sewing. When she wasn’t sewing, she would be doing needlepoint in front of the TV, usually watching old westerns, old game shows, or baseball. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and would watch them any chance she got. And she would watch until the last out, no matter how good or bad the Cardinals were playing. If she wasn’t sewing something or doing needlepoint, she would be reading or working on a puzzle. She also loved to travel and vacation, and especially seeing new sites and new places with friends.

She was loved by all and will truly be missed. The love she leaves behind will last our lifetime.

Funeral services will be held at Yarber Mortuary, Eminence, Missouri. Visitation will also be held at the funeral home. Interment will be in Bethany Chapel Cemetery, Eminence.
