Jeanie married Gracin Eugene “Bob” Johnson on May 17, 1968 in Fort Worth, Texas. They worked together in the mobile home business in Monroe and Bossier City, Louisiana and lived in Calhoun, Louisiana for many years. She was also in the mobile home business in Lafayette, Louisiana, Martin, Tennessee, and Huntsville, Alabama. She moved to these places, but always kept her home in Calhoun. She also sold real estate and insurance.

Jeanie loved to travel and was ready to take a trip anywhere in the world someone wanted to go. She had a passion and talent for painting and crocheting. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Once Jeanie met you and liked you, you automatically became part of her family and couldn’t part without a hug and kiss from her. She loved spending time with her granddaughter Krystal and great grandchildren Skylar and Reagan.

Jeanie moved to the Birch Tree area in 1998 with her daughter Hope, soon to be followed by Beth, David, and Krystal. That way the whole family was together, and that made her very happy.

She is preceded in death by her parents; three husbands, Robert Clark Jr., Clifford Ramsey, and Donald Bageant; and her beloved sister, Carrie Leona “Kay” Johnson.

She is survived by her daughters, Beth and husband, David Trotter, Hope and husband, Bill Powell both of Birch Tree, MO; granddaughters, Krystal Greer of Birch Tree, MO and Meaghan Trotter of Marksville, LA; great grandchildren, Skylar Leonard of West Monroe, LA, Reagan Doggett of Birch Tree, MO, and Khloe Trotter of Marksville, LA; niece, Jennifer Frank of Fort Worth, TX; and two nephews, Andrew and David Manly both of Fort Worth, TX; her brother-in-law, Ken Johnson of Grandview, TX; and many friends scattered around the country. Jeanie will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
