Charles Dwayne Elliott, 80-year-old resident of Thomasville, Missouri, departed this life Monday, January 29, 2024, at the family home in Thomasville, Missouri. He was born March 23, 1943, in Thomasville, Missouri to the late Fred Samuel and Mary Hester (Nasalrode) Elliott.
Dwayne was a cattle rancher for the 11 Point Ranch for 31 years before retiring, and continued ranching/farming on the same family farm as his Dad previously had done. He loved spending time with brothers, sister, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and especially his wife Kay of 59 years.
He is also preceded in death by an infant son, Randy Wayne Elliott; one sister, Dorothy Lewis, and four brothers, Floyd, Chester, Donald, and Leo Elliott.
Surviving are his wife Kay; two sisters, Jewell Cooley of Cuba, Missouri and Mildred Smotherman of Union, Missouri; two sons, Joe Elliott and wife Lisa of West Plains, Missouri and Tony Elliott and Rebecca Brown of Thomasville, Missouri. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Jaxx, Nash, Greyson, Becca, Caroline, Avery, Alayna, and Liam.
Funeral services for Charles Dwain Eliott will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, Missouri.
There will be a visitation time on the same day from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be in Elk Creek Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains, Missouri.
