Charles Leon Souder Jr., 50 years, 10 months, and 26 days old, passed away on, May 6, 2024 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mtn. Home, Arkansas surrounded by family and friends.
Leon was born June 11, 1973 in Mtn. Home, Arkansas to Charles and Connie (Stewart) Souder.
Leon was a Christian and was saved and baptized in Cow Skin Creek by Pastor Stan Collins.
He was a logger, mechanic and a jack of all trades.
Leon enjoyed hunting, fishing, logging, and working on cars. He liked building and racing cars. His family felt he was truly one of the toughest men they knew, mentally and physically able to handle the life he endured.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; Almond and Elzada (Curtis) Souder, Charles and Geneva (Parmer) Stewart.
Charles is survived by his children; Makayla, Katelyn, and Newt Souder; his significant other, Amanda Winlock; siblings; Deborah and Dana Vanderbogart, and Dustin Souder; granddaughter, Alley; one grand baby on the way; and many other relatives and friends.
Cremation services for Leon are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc., Ava, Missouri.
