Charlotte Kay Holmes, 72, went to be with her Heavenly Father on November 28, 2023. She was born October 27, 1951 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Hershel and Mabel (Hodge) Wilbanks.
Charlotte, known as Mimi to so many, worked as a marine marketing manager for Cobra Boats. Spending her retired years hunting, fishing, camping, and anything that involved time with family. In 2019 after her visit to Heaven and sharing her testimony across the country, Charlotte fulfilled her promise to God to lead as many others as she could to Christ. Now that her time here is through, she is home rejoicing with her heavenly family.
Charlotte is survived by her loving husband Danny Holmes of 52yrs; one daughter Chrystal (Holmes) Meek and husband Kevin Meek; mother in law Delphia (Duggins) Holmes; two grandkids Brody Meek and Shai (Meek) Stevens and husband Zach Stevens; and one great grandson Haze Stevens all of Gainesville, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents Hershel and Mabel Wilbanks; sister Wanda Carter, and infant son.
Charlotte wanted to share her favorite verse with everyone, Revelations 21:4….
“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain any more, for the former things have passed away. “She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
