Connie and Gib built their home and life just a tenth of a mile from where Connie was born and raised.  Connie and Gib were always together.  You rarely saw one without the other.  Together they had a farm that they have added to over the years.  During this time, they raised almost every animal that you could imagine.  Connie loved animals and being outdoors.  There wasn’t any machinery or tool that she hadn’t used.  She also took great pride in her gardens and flowers.  She definitely had a green thumb and delighted in sharing starts from her plants with others.

Connie attended Sweden Church for seventy years.  While there, she was the piano player and taught Sunday School.  A few years ago Gib and Connie started attending the Star Chapel Church where they were welcomed with open arms.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, one son Toby, and one step grandson, Landen.  She is survived by her husband Gib of the home, son Todd and wife Crystal of Ava, son Trampas and wife Teresa of Ava, grandson Eli of Ava, and a host of many family members and friends.

Funeral services for Connie will be Saturday, September 16th at11:00 A.M. at the Clinkingbeard chapel  in Ava, Missouri. Visitation will be at 10:00 A.M. until service time. Burial will be in the Sweden cemetery.  Officiating will be Pastor Larry Vinson and Pastor Tim Reese. Memorials may be made to Sweden Cemetery.
