Constance received her Bachelors of Science in English and Writing at Drury University here in Ava. Constance chose to love…rather than hate, chose to laugh…rather than cry, chose to create…rather than destroy, chose to persevere…rather than quit, chose to praise…rather than gossip, chose to heal…rather than wound, chose to give…rather than steal, chose to grow…rather than rot, chose to pray…rather than curse and chose to believe in the power of prayer. She would want you to rejoice instead of mourn, and do all things with love in your heart.

Constance is preceded in death by her parents, Lester Earl and Patricia Bolinger; her sons William Anthony, Thomas Ray, Cecil James and her sister, Lesa Dennis.

She is survived by three sisters, Lois Irene of Arizona, Shirley Ann of Idaho and Linda Lou of California, son Scott Eugene, of Tennessee, Louis William of Gainesville; daughter Veronica Ann of Gainesville, April Garcia of Great Falls and a multitude of adopted children that she took in along the way. Jase, Jessie, Kim, Brandon, George, Michael, Buba along with many grandchildren. Constance was known by many as Momma Connie, she always had room in her heart for a child in need.

Constance lived her life as a writer, she saw beauty in everything and everyone, lived life on the edge; she loved to laugh and share her laughter and woke every morning with a smile and kind word. (As long as she had her coffee first.) Later in life she devoted her time as a Casa volunteer for children and a Soldiers Angel for the many soldiers away from home who had no one to write to. She led a full and adventurous life despite her rare disease. She never let it get the best of her, and she always said her immune ITP was a blessing, despite the many ups and downs she went through daily. Constance was a gifted and special woman loved by many. She touched a lot of lives.

There will be a celebration of life and potluck at Rippee Conservation Area on Friday March 7th 2025 from 4-6PM.  Please join her family and friends in honoring Connie’s memory. Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc., Ava, Missouri.
