Craig William Carter, 62, was born March 31, 1962, in Springfield, Missouri, to Clifford and Dorothy (Nimmo) Carter. He went to be with the Lord on December 8, 2024, at Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains, Missouri.
A dedicated and hardworking individual, Craig made a significant mark as an Over-the-Road Truck Driver. Throughout his career, he traversed countless miles, forming connections across the nation while embodying the spirit of a true professional. He also enjoyed doing small engine repair and mechanic work.
Craig married the love of his life, Tina Rayne Kelts, on January 29, 1994, in Competition, Missouri.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Dorothy; and sisters, Patricia Carter and Cyndi (Carter) Wilson.
Survivors include his wife, Tina of Mountain View, MO; nephew, Michael Lee (Sonia) Carter of Branson, MO; step-son, Michael (Diane) Curtis; step-daughter, Brandi Curtis; grandchildren, Harley Curtis and Tabitha Curtis; six great-grandchildren; and a great nephew and niece.
Craig enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. He loved the Lord and the Word of God. He had great love and appreciation for all of his friends and family.
Craig will be dearly missed, yet his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him.
