Dale Fredrick Philipp

Dale F. Philipp, 76, of Willow Springs, Missouri, died suddenly on April 19, 2023, in West Plains, Missouri. He was born the son of the late Frederick and Dorothy Philipp on December 23, 1946, in Bay County, Michigan.

Dale lived in Flint, Michigan, til 1997, where he moved to Willow Springs, Missouri. He was drafted into the Army in 1966, where he served in the Vietnam War for three years. Dale was married on September 10, 1966, to Joanne Carol (Palmer) Philipp.

He was an HVAC Technician for over 45 years, and worked at Terry Allen Heating and Cooling, then Coulters Heating and Cooling of Willow Springs, Missouri, for the last 27 years.

Dale is survived by his daughters, Melissa Cole of Willow Springs, MO, Sara Pettyjohn and husband, Standon of Michigan, and Rebecca Shields and husband, Matthew of Willow Springs; grandchildren, Joshua (Grace) Queen, Elizabeth Philipp, Mason Philipp, Kolby Queen, Layne Pettyjohn, Penny Shields, Chayne Shields, and Jacob Maloney; great-grandchild, Bailee Queen; brothers and sisters, Irene Stange, Judy Dawson, Fred (Charlene) Philipp, and Robert (Debbie) Philipp all of Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years; his parents; sister, Carol Brabant; and son, Jason Philipp.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Yarber Mortuary, Willow Springs, Missouri, with Pastor Wade Mattsfield officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-3:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mackey Cemetery, Pomona, Missouri.
