Darrell Lee Myers

Darrell Lee Myers, a man of many talents and a kind heart, passed away on July 3, 2024, in his hometown of Hartville, Missouri. Born on April 9, 1966, Darrell was a beloved member of the community who touched the lives of many.

Darrell was a true jack of all trades throughout his life – from being a skilled mechanic to delivering propane and even transporting new campers, he never shied away from hard work. Recently, he had ventured into a new endeavor by starting his own lawn care business. His dedication and work ethic were evident in everything he pursued.

Apart from his professional pursuits, Darrell loved animals and the outdoors. He found solace in nature and enjoyed spending time fishing. His love for the simple pleasures in life was truly admirable.

Described as someone who would do anything for anybody, Darrell’s selflessness and generosity knew no bounds. He will be remembered for his willingness to lend a helping hand and his kind spirit that brightened the days of those around him.

He is survived by aunts, Judy Perry and Jeanie Piercy, uncle, Skip Myers, and aunts-in-law, Freda Barr and Nadine Barr. 

He is now reunited with his parents John Lee Myers and Wilma Jean (Barr) Myers, along with several aunts and uncles who have passed before him.

May Darrell’s legacy of hard work, kindness, and love for nature continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Memorial contributions may be made to Little Creek Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
