Daryle Thomas Newsome Sr., age 65, of Winona, Missouri, went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, March 25, 2022, at his home surrounded by family. He was born to Billie Gene and Mary Lee Newsome (Ferguson) on May 28, 1956, in New Jersey.
He was a lifelong carpenter by trade and worked for Red Roberts Construction of Winona, Missouri, for many years. Daryle met his sweetheart, Christine Newsome the summer of 1969 in New Jersey, where they later became married.
He is survived by his sister, Bonnie Jo Derryberry; his and Christine’s children, who together they enjoyed spending time with, Daryle (Heather) Newsome, Misty Newsome, Kristy Berg, Cristy (Erskine) Dale, Julie Newsome-Davidson; ten grandchildren, David (Kristina), Jacob, Gabriel, Alexis, Austyn, Liam, Mason, Lilly, Leilani, and Matthew; four great-grandchildren, Ryan, Zoey, Braelynn, and Jaylene; and along with several nieces and nephews.
Daryle was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Billie Gene Newsome Jr.; and one son-in-law, Austin Davidson.
On any given day you could find him on his Harley-Davidson taking trips with his wife. He was known for his green thumb for raising garden vegetables, spending time with his dogs, enjoying the outdoors, and hunting with his family.
Daryle lived life to the fullest; he was always telling people about His Savior Jesus and was very proud of his legacy of faith in his family. He was a lot of things to a lot of people: husband, father, brother, Pops, uncle, and friend, to name a few. Anyone that knew him would agree that he was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and family or anyone in need. Daryle always made time for others, and he will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Yarber Mortuary, Winona, Missouri, with Sue Norris officiating. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
