David D. Foster

David D. Foster, 89, of Highland, Arkansas passed away at his home. He was born in Salem, Arkansas to Robert and Roxie (Rozier) Foster, both who preceded him in death as well as his wife, Shirley (Gray) Foster; two daughters, Sharon Foster and Pam Morris; one son, David W. Foster; and four siblings.

Survivors include his three grandchildren: Dustin Foster, Preston Morris (Carla), and Krissy Nicholas; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and good friends.

David Delmar Foster was a proud retired veteran of the United States Navy who later worked as a deputy sheriff in Sharp County, Arkansas, a newspaperman with the Spring River Times in Hardy, Arkansas, and a truck driver with Redi-Mix Concrete Company in Hardy.  He was also an international champion golfer whose love for the game was unmatched and a man with a great love of family, especially his grandkids.
