A Celebration of Life for David DeWayne Hayes, Age 54 of West Plains, Missouri will be held on Tuesday, May 26th, 2026 at The Langston Street Chapel of The Robertson-Drago Funeral Home West Plains, Missouri, beginning at 2:00 PM. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 1:00 PM.
Mr. Hayes was born on September 8, 1971, in Mountain View, Missouri, to Lloyd Norman Hayes and Glenda Marie Ford. David passed away on May 20, 2026, at Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains, Missouri. He was universally admired, possessed remarkable building skills, and cherished numerous memories of time spent with family and friends. David was always willing to lend a helping hand and resided in West Plains for his entire adult life.
He is survived by his sister, Jessica Anne McCarty; two sons, David DeWayne Hayes Jr. and Cristifur Lee Hayes; and one daughter, Emma May Hayes, as well as several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and many close family members. Services will be held at Robertson-Drago on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, with family gathering at 12:30 pm, visitation at 1:00 pm, and the funeral at 2:00 pm.
