David Justin Armand was born on March 9, 1990, in West Plains Missouri to Tammie (Armand) Tettaton and Larry Armand. He passed away on November 21, 2024, at his residence in Ozark, Missouri at the age of 34.
He grew up to be a kind, generous, fiercely-loving person. He loved telling a “funny” and he absolutely lived for family life.
He worked as a carpenter, a mechanic, and a tattoo artist. He excelled at all three. There was nothing he couldn’t do.
He leaves behind his sons, Landen Rhoades and his sister, Evalyn and David Jr.; daughter, Madison; his mama, Tammie Tettaton; and the man who raised him, Lonnie Tettaton. He also leaves behind his biological father, Larry Armand; grandparents, Cathie Lewis, Danny and Linda Lewis, and Adrienne and Mike Stevens; three living siblings, Krista Widermuth, Eric Overgaard, and Sarah Tettaton and their families.
He is further survived by his girlfriend Kristi Teal, the love of his life, and her two sons. He also has many uncles and aunts, including, Lauren Green, Dano Lewis, Mike Armand, and Glen Armand; and many cousins, including Donya Noble that will sorely miss him. He has many friends whose lives are richer because of his presence.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth; his daughter, Lexi Anne Elizabeth; his paternal grandpa Wallace Armand; his cousin Derek Armand; his aunt, Susan Armand; and his maternal grandparents, Karl Green and Martha Green.
David loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and camping. He was his mama’s river buddy. He also loved building and flying model planes. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. Family was the most important thing in his life, his reason for living.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Mountain View, Missouri, with Father Nicholas Newton officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri. A visitation will be held from 12-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com
