David Wilson Ross, 77 years, 5 months, and 17 days old, passed away July 9, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
On January 20, 1947, David was born in Mesa, Arizona to John and Wanda (Goodnight) Ross.
He was an Army Veteran and served honorably. He was stationed in Europe for a couple of years.
David enjoyed hunting and fishing, whether he was fishing the bank or hunting for treasures, his favorite place was Forsyth Dam.
David was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Malissa; grandson, Nicholas; and his sister, Norma Shelton.
David is survived by his daughter, Marsha and Tom Meyer; four grandchildren, Tatum, Madeliene, Leighton, and Brock; three great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Hannah, and Loretta; his siblings and their spouses: Charles Ross, Cheryl (Dale) Keith, and Lisa (Mike) Loftin; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for David will be Monday, July 15, 2024 at 10:00 AM in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, Missouri. Burial will be in the Ava Cemetery with full military honors conducted by U.S. Army Detail and Troy Herd American Legion Post 112. Memorials may be made to the family as a love offering.
