Debbie Sue Mathes, 71, of Bucyrus, Missouri passed away October 1, 2026. Debbie was born on August 24, 1955, in Springfield, IL, to Arthur Wayne Lepart Jr. and Mary Evelyn (Boyer) Lepart.
Debbie is survived by her daughter, Billie-Jo Edwards; grandson whom she was raising, Logan Mathes; sisters, Kim Ranz and Tammy Meeker; brother, Dean Mackeben; four grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Toby Mathes; daughter, Tonie Mathes; grandchildren, Kyle Edwards and Brieana Edwards; and brother, Steven Mackeben.
Debbie loved Native American artifacts and culture. She always enjoyed spending time with her family and sharing stories about the past.
Per her wishes, no services will be held. Memorial contributions in Debbie’s name may be made to Evans Funeral Home, Houston, Missouri.
