Diana Jones

Diana Jones, daughter of George Ray Ketcherside and Lola Isabelle Marler, was born March 25, 1949, in River aux Vases, Missouri, and departed this life on October 21, 2023, at her home in Mountain Grove, Missouri. She was 74 years, 6 months and 27 days of age.

She was united in marriage to Doyle Jones in September of 2007.

Diana lived in Mountain Grove, Missouri, for many years and previously lived in Grovespring, Missouri. She loved to crochet and sew, and she loved taking care of her grandbabies. They were her entire world. She had a wonderful “gang” of friends. She really appreciated the girl bond. Diana was also an avid Texas Hold’em player, and she loved to kick the men’s butts in Mountain Grove.

Diana was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was a caring neighbor and friend to many people. We have many great memories that we will always cherish.

Besides her parents, Diana was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Wright, the wife of Robert Wright, and two brothers, Robert Wayne Ketcherside and James Edward Ketcherside.

Diana is survived by her husband, Doyle Jones, her stepdaughter, Sherry Horton, granddaughter, Chelsea, and great-grandsons, Bryson and Colton, all of Grovespring, Missouri, one daughter, Tina Ferguson, of Lebanon, Missouri, two sons, Roger Ferguson and his wife, Gina, of High Ridge, Missouri, and Spencer Ferguson of Hartville, Missouri, two granddaughters, Kaylee and Jayla Ferguson both of Hartville, Missouri, two sisters, Linda Dane of Leadwood, Missouri, and Brenda Franklin and husband, Jim, of Bismark, Missouri, one brother, George Ketcherside and wife, Margaret, of Fredericktown, Missouri, as well as many other nieces, nephews, and other family and friends that will miss her very much.
